Sailapalooza Week 6

Sailapalooza is a fun-focused sailing course where students sail multiple different boats in a variety of different locations. Instead of being a more directed, “learn-to-sail” course, Sailapalooza is intended to be more free-form and allow students with a bit of experience with sailing to be able to express themselves on the water in a number of fun ways. Students can practice the skills they’ve learned in order to travel to and explore recreational spots outside of the usual campgrounds.

This course is intended to be taken by students age 7+ who already have a rudimentary understanding of sailing, but want to put their skills to a test in a variety of fun activities that extend beyond regular practice. Sailapalooza is usually intended to be taken alongside a full 4-week course to help add fun and additional challenge for students who want more experience on the water, and for a chance to use the skills they’ve learned in other courses.
