Adventurers / Learn to Race Session 1

BCB’s most advanced course, this class is intended as a capstone of sailing technique, as well as an introduction to the world of competitive sailboat racing. Students sail on all boat types available at BCB; Prams, Lasers, Bullseyes, and Hobies, with an emphasis on students being comfortable with any and all vessels. Advanced topics such as sail trim, weight placement, and rudderless sailing are taught, and the course is designed to let students experiment, practice, and ultimately master their newfound skills.
